Are We About to Start Highlighting Our Jaws?

Certified Makeup Artist Rachel OCool took to TikTok last week to try and recreate a recent photo on Bella Hadid’s Instagram. The photo is a birthday tribute, but Rachel’s real focus is Hadid’s glowing, chiseled jaw. 

The MUA believes that Hadid’s godly bone-structure can be re-created using highlighter, and for that illuminated look, suggests first using a little contour directly under your jaw for some contrast, blending it into your neck. She stresses using a small amount of highlight, in a refined area - so just a tad on your actual jawbone. 

OCool demonstrates with a small brush and some powdered highlighter, and the results are gorgeous!! A perfect look for when you’re glammed-up and want to look a little extra-dazzling. 

The stick highlighters by Glossier and Jason Wu are both great cream options, or any powder and a small brush would be perfect for copying OCool’s look.
